This strategic decision prioritizes supply chain stability for major Asian energy importers, ensuring consistent delivery schedules to key ports like Ulsan and Chiba for regional refining operations.

Navigating these high-risk zones requires strict adherence to international maritime safety frameworks, particularly SOLAS Chapter XI-2 regarding special measures to enhance maritime security. Compliance departments must ensure that the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code is rigorously implemented, with updated Ship Security Plans (SSP) reflecting current threat assessments.
